I did an interview with Drowned In Sound recently. You can read it here:

We’re starting our tour today. I have just 2 and a quarter hours left of work before I’m off for 3 weeks. Can’t wait!

Pre-order Animals

Monday, September 15th, 2008

We’re going to be taking out copies of ‘Animals’ on tour, but if you can’t make it and still want a copy of the CD (or vinyl) then please pre-order them now:

Unfortunately for all of you in North America, you will have to be patient. Plans are a foot to bring you ‘Animals’ (on CD/MP3) shortly.

We’re going on tour starting next week

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

Here are the dates:

I spent an age finding all the last.fm/facebook/advanced tickets online, and have put them all in our ‘Up coming gigs’ section. Please go check them out :-)

Interview at Audioscribbler.co.uk

Monday, September 8th, 2008

Hey,

There is an interview I did the other day over at Audioscribbler.co.uk. I think I must’ve been tired as it reads like I’m some kind of massive grump. Oh well. Hopefully some folk will find it interesting.

and it looks like this:

Hope you like it. The song is called Panda :-)

Last night…

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

…we played a gig on the surface of the sun. Apologies to those of you who came along and were put out by the extreme heat and the resulting technical issues we were having at the start of the set. Hopefully we made up for it when things finally got going. Honestly I don’t think any of us have ever played in such ridiculous conditions before. I felt like I was going to be sick when we got off stage.

Also, for those of you who may have been expecting a few more older songs, fear not. We’ll be working on getting them ready for future gigs. We just wanted to concentrate on getting Jamie up to speed on the new songs and we left it a bit late on “If I sit still…” and “Belle and Sebastian”.

Anyway, again…I hope it was worth it and thank you for sticking around until the end and being so patient with us. It was pretty amazing to see so many people there.
